Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Obtain AVIXA CTS and CompTIA A certifications within one year of starting.
• 4 years’ experience in technical AV/IT or field engineering support.
• Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Windows and Apple software.
• Ability to set up and color balance video displays.
• Proficiency in loading, testing, and editing control code with remote assistance.
• Experience with programming languages like Python, HTML, C#Pro, and digital communication protocols.
• Intermediate proficiency in setting up and adjusting audio and video equipment.
• Proficiency in using audiovisual and IT trade tools and equipment.
• Intermediate proficiency in configuring wired and wireless TCP/IP networks.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or adjust integrated audiovisual systems systematically and effectively.
• Configure and troubleshoot video and audio-conferencing systems.
• Adjust and troubleshoot DSPs and audio systems.
• Retrieve, load, and troubleshoot control system code.
• Repair connectors, cables, and other system components.
• De-install/install system components, devices, and equipment.
• Provide detailed documentation of system repair status.
• Follow up on unresolved issues and maintain technical bulletins.
• Provide client support as a backup Onsite Support Technician when required.
• Conduct training classes for entry-level AV Service Engineers.
• Load, test, and edit control code with remote assistance.
• Maintain and archive job-related documentation and configuration files.
• Provide system training to clients when necessary.
